New beginning in New Zealand

After waking up to shots fired in front of her home and a dead man on the wall to her property, Luna knows, she has to leave Chicago. Her hometown hadn't felt safe to her for years, now her home did not feel safe anymore. It was time to start somewhere new.

Somewhere became New Zealand and Luna and her best friend and roommate Hazel move to New Zealand, where they bought a part of a farm. Being from Chicago they have no clue about farm life. Luckily, the family living on the farm knows all about farming and after Luna and Hazel prove, they are here to work not to rule, Stella, the sexy farmhand, warms up to Luna.

Is it possible for Luna to find peace and love in New Zealand?

She had injured the poor bird because she was too stupid to drive a car with a trailer.

“This explains why it didn’t leave the road when we came. It couldn’t move. Probably another car hit it and it was left here. I call Leo, he can meet us halfway, take the bird and get to the vet before it closes. There is a bucket in the boot, can you get it, please?”

How did they fit a bucket into a boot? What size was that boot? New Zealand was a crazy country.

“Luna?”

“How big is that boot that you can fit a bucket in it?”

“What?”

Luna turned slowly, relaxing a little bit when she saw the bird move. It was in Stella’s lap. “When a bucket fits into a boot it has to be a huge size. So, where is this huge boot?”

“I am not talking about a boot, I am talking about the part of the car, where you put your groceries or whatever you need to transport. What do you call it?”

“You mean the trunk.”

“Your Americans really need to learn how to speak English. So please, get the bucket from out of the trunk.”

Late is a million times better than never
